  • Consecrated life: for me?
    • We are all called to be saints ! To live in full communion with God and with others, eveyone is called to discover one’s particular vocation.
Among the possible roads to take, some are called to the Institute Notre-Dame de Vie.
It means to consecrate one’s life entirely to God and participate fully in the activities and challenges of society today.
What about you ? What is your vocation ?

John was born in Fontiveros (Avila, Spain) in 1542, and died in Ubeda (Jaén, Spain) in 1591. This makes him 27 years younger than Teresa of Avila, to whom he was a great help in the Reform of the Carmelite Order. He was a small man, but ‘great in the…

  • The Prophet Elijah, « a solitary contemplative caught up in the life of his people »
His vocation sets him apart, far away from his community, and draws him to the desert. Separated from the world for a while, he goes where the Spirit moves him. Is the prophet a superman ? No, he is a poor man who experiences his weakness. He is harassed, discouraged…
